21/July/2019 – Stabbing Incident – “C” Shift

Incident # 19-05036 – An early morning stabbing incident sent one man to the Trauma Center Sunday 21-July. At 06:40, 9-1-1 Operators received a report of a man stabbed in the chest at the Southern Inn located at 1630 Bells Hwy. Walterboro Police and Sheriff Deputies arrived quickly and secured the scene. Fire-Rescue Medic 26 stabilized the injured man, then transported him in stable condition to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Walterboro Police are investigating the incident.

Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
