07/September/2019 – Evac Deployment Hurricane Dorian

Colleton County Fire-Rescue’s air medical partner, Med-trans Corp., deployed 10 rotor aircraft and one fixed wing to the Lowcountry Regional Airport in preparation for the evacuation of medical patients during Hurricane Dorian. The crews were originally staged in Florida but moved north up the coast as the storm’s path moved north. Med-Trans brought a mobile command post to coordinate their efforts.
