3 & 4/October/2019 – Blood Drive

The Guns and Hoses Blood Drive was held at the new Sheriff’s Office Complex Thursday and Friday 3&4 October. Participants were able to donate on the behalf of Law Enforcement or a Fire Department. LE took the prize with the most donations. A total of 67 units of blood were donated over the two days. The Blood Drive was in cooperation with The Blood Connection, a local blood products supplier. Static displays by Fire-Rescue, Walterboro Fire Dept, The Sheriff’s Office, Walterboro Police and C.A.R.E. Flight were set up on the property for the public. We thank all those who supported the Drive with donations or their time.
