05/October/2019 – MVC – “B” Shift

Incident # 19-06989 – Five people were injured in a two car MVC at the intersection of Confederate Hwy (SC Hwy 641) and Broxton Bridge Hwy (US Hwy 601) Saturday morning 05-October at 11:09. The vehicles, a small SUV and a full sized pickup truck collided in the intersection. The pickup truck overturned. One person required ambulance transportation to Colleton Medical Center. The remaining four people decided to seek medical attention at a later time. Traffic at the busy intersection was down to one lane in all four directions until the vehicles could be removed. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.  

Engine 23, Medic 7, Medic 18, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain Doug Mixson Jr served as Incident Commander.
