05/November/2019 – Gunshot Wound – “C” Shift

Incident # 19-07766 – At 19:40, Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a shooting incident in the 400 block of Fleming Road Tuesday evening 05-November. An adult male received a gunshot wound to the left leg in what was reported by the victim as an accidental shooting. The patient was found inside a residence, which is not the location of the incident. Firefighter-Paramedics treated his non-life threatening wounds, then transported him in Fire-Rescue Medic 19 to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital. He remained in stable condition. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Engine 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Firefighter-Paramedic Matt Smart served as Incident Commander.
