07/March/2020 – Emergency Services Softball Tournament

The 9th Annual Emergency Services Softball Tournament was held on 07-March-2020 at the Colleton County Recreation Center north of Walterboro. Only five teams participated this year for the tournament which is open to emergency service and military personnel. The departments participating this year where, Charleston Fire Dept., Mount Pleasant Fire Dept., Dorchester County Fire-Rescue, St. Johns Fire Dept and Colleton County Fire-Rescue. St. John’s Fire Dept took first place with Charleston Fire Dept snagging the second place trophy. All funds generated are split between the Carolina Children’s Charity and the MUSC Burned Children’s Fund. The event was coordinated by Lt. Brian Drew and FF-EMT Robert McAlhaney.
