10/May/2020 – Fatal Shooting Incident – “ C” Shift

Incident # 20-03084 - An adult male was killed from a gunshot wound to the upper torso Sunday morning 10-May at 02:19. The incident occurred at the Palms Inn located at 1145 Sniders Hwy near I-95. The man was shot in the parking lot at the end of the building. City Police, Sheriff’s Deputies and Firefighter-Paramedics arrived quickly, but the man had no signs of life. The Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene. The man was shot during an altercation outside of the motel. The Walterboro Police Dept is investigating the incident.

Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain Jack Wimberly served as Incident Commander.
