07/June/2020 – Motorcycle MVC with Air Evac – “B” Shift

Incident # 20-03749 – A 25 yr. old male received multiple traumatic injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a wooded area in the 1200 block of Oregon Road Sunday evening 07-June at 20:02. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene, then transported him emergent to a nearby field to meet with the CARE Flight helicopter. He was transferred to the Flight Crew without incident and flown to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The man was not wearing a helmet. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 6, Medic 6 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
