Incident # 20-08111 - A 19 year old male received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hand in what is thought to be an accidental shooting at the Travelodge at 1577 Bells Hwy. in Walterboro Wednesday evening 25-November at 18:11. Walterboro Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies responded and cleared the scene. Firefighter-Paramedics found the patient ambulatory with bleeding to his hand. He was treated at the scene which included bleeding control and pain medications. He was then transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center by Fire-Rescue Medic 26. The Walterboro Police Dept is investigating the incident.
