Incident # 21-02659 - At 14:13 Fire-Rescue and Law Enforcement were sent to 530 Sniders Hwy. for a gunshot wound. Units arrived 3 minutes later to find an adult female that had been shot twice, once in the lower back and once in the leg. Firefighter-Paramedics quickly treated her at the scene, then transported her emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston in Fire-Rescue Medic 1. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
