Incident # 21-03437 - An adult female was fatally shot in a residence in the 4500 block of Can City Road Monday afternoon 17-May. 9-1-1 received the report of the incident at 14:57. Sheriff's Deputies cleared the residence and Firefighter-Paramedics found the woman unconscious inside the home. The patient received what appeared to be a gunshot wound and had no signs of life. The CARE Flight helicopter flew to the scene, but was cancelled prior to landing.The Coroner's Office was requested and responded to the scene. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 5, Medic 26, Car 104, Car 105, Car 118, Car 119 and CARE Flight responded. Deputy Chief David Greene served as Incident Commander.
