Incident # 21-07365 - Fire-Rescue responded to a suspicious fire at 2450 Robertson Blvd, the Classics Social Club, Tuesday morning 12-October. At 10:53 9-1-1 was advised of the fire in an apartment connected to the Club. Arriving units found smoke coming from the building but the fire had burned itself out. The fire damaged several rooms in the building, but once the accelerant used was consumed, the fire did not extend into the building. The fire was obviously set and may have been started during the night. SLED's Arson Unit was requested and responded to the scene. Investigators worked through the day collecting evidence and investigating the fire.
