Incident # 22-02464 - An adult male was flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center after he fell approximately 30 feet while working on a tree at his home. The man suffered multiple injuries. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Welles Ln at 11:54. Firefighter-Paramedics found the man on the ground near the base of an extension ladder. He was treated at the scene, immobilized, then transported in Fire-Rescue Medic 26 with additional personnel on board to assist with care, to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center. The crew met with the CARE Flight helicopter. He was flown to the Trauma Center without incident.
Engine 26, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain Jack Wimberly served as Incident Commander.
