Colleton Medical Center held its annual Prehospital Provider Luncheon as part of National EMS Week, Tuesday 21-May. The Luncheon was to honor all prehospital providers. On-duty crews with Fire-Rescue were rotated through the facility and many off-duty and volunteer personnel also dropped by and enjoyed a meal. Hospital CEO Jimmy Hiott and ED Director Whitney Bishop joined the crews during the event. Several out of county EMS units also attended. This year, due to the heat, the event was held indoors in the Administrative Conference Room.
