Incident # 22-05123 - A Denmark man perished following a single vehicle roll-over accident in the 9300 block of Augusta Hwy. (SC Hwy 61) Sunday afternoon 03-July at 15:45. According to witnesses, the Chevrolet Tahoe left the roadway and flipped over several times. Fire-Rescue crews found the man unresponsive near the vehicle. Crews moved him to a nearby ambulance and began resuscitative measures. He was transported emergent to Colleton Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. Two other adult males were treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics and they denied ambulance transportation to a hospital. The accident is being investigated by the SC Highway Patrol.
Engine 7, Engine 26, Medic 7, Medic 26, Rescue 1, Battalion 1 and Car 105 responded. Lt. David Sauls served as Incident Commander.
