Incident # 22-07251 -At 00:08, Station # 19 was dispatched to a reported woods fire near the intersection of Burlington Road and Nunuville Road. On arrival, Engine 19 found a one story residential dwelling and a detached two car garage fully involved in the 1000 block of Nunuville Road. They requested a structural response for additional units. Engine 19 used the deck gun to knock down some of the flames. The roof on both buildings had already collapsed prior to Fire-Rescue Units arriving, indicating the fire had been burning for a while before anyone discovered the fire. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed multiple handlines to the building which was located well off of the roadway. Crews had the fire under control within 25 minutes, but were on the scene for 4 hours performing overhaul. The home and the garage were a total loss. The family was out of town. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Engine 9, Engine 19, Engine 26, Tender 1, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Tender 36, Medic 9, Medic 19, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded.
