20/September/2022 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift

Incident # 22-07298 - At 14:13 on Tuesday 20-Sept., a resident on Joyland Ln notified 9-1-1 of a house on fire on Alton Way. The caller advised they could see the roof on fire through the woods. Engine 9 arrived a few minutes later to find a double wide mobile home well involved. The roof had already collapsed and fire was coming from all of the windows. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed multiple handlines and  knocked the fire down with the deck gun. After approximately 20 minutes, crews were able to enter the dwelling and extinguish the remaining fire. The interior of the home was destroyed. The occupants were not at home when the fire occurred and no injuries were reported. Fire-Rescue crews were on the scene for 3 hours performing overhaul. Engine 9, Engine 36, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 27, Tender 36, Medic 9, Medic 19, Battalion1, Car 107, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Asst. Chief Marty Stallings served as Incident Commander.
