19/December/2022 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift Incident # 22-09838 - At 13:59, 9-1-1 received a report of smoke coming from the roof of a residence in the 300 block of Jonesville Ave. Engine 13 arrived to find smoke coming the eves of a single story wood frame dwelling. Firefighter-Paramedics used thermal imaging cameras to locate the source of the smoke and pulled the ceiling in several places to reach the fire in the attic. The fire was electrical in nature and several wires had shorted, damaging several wooden rafters. The fire was quickly extinguished, saving the home and contents. Fire units were on the scene for a little over an hour. Engine 1, Engine 13, Tender 1, Tender 8, Tender 13, Medic 1, Medic 13, Battalion 1, Car 105, Car 107, Car 110, Car 112 and Car 118 responded.
