Incident # 23-00946 - A large storage building was destroyed at 153 Cone Ct in Cottageville Monday morning 06-Feb. At 07:30, a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report the fire. The caller advised the building was well involved. Engine 9 arrived to find the building had already collapsed. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed two handlines to extinguish the fire. Crews were on the scene for two hours performing overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Engine 9, Engine 19, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 34, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Firefighter-Paramedic Shane Medlin served as Incident Commander.
