Fire-Rescue crews, in cooperation with Keep Colleton Beautiful, Palmetto Pride and Regional Earth Day, collected litter along a 1-1/2 mile stretch of Peniel Road Friday morning 21-April. Crews spent two and half hours picking up litter and collected 33 bags of trash on the rural road. Several County Departments participated in the event and cleaned up several rural roads in the county. Donna Lamb with the Economic Alliance coordinated the different crews.
