Incident # 23-06231 - An adult male received a gunshot wound at a residence located in the 100 block of Glover Street at 02:43 Saturday morning 19-August. Walterboro Police secured the scene and Firefighter-Paramedics found the man inside the home with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was treated at the scene for his injuries and medications were administered. No medical helicopters were immediately available. Fire-Rescue Medic 1 transported the man emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Walterboro Police are investigating the incident and reportedly apprehended a suspect later in the morning.
Medic 1, Battalion 1, Car 111 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
