Incident # 23-06387 - An adult male suffered a medical emergency at a residence in the 8800 block of Lowcountry Hwy. (US Hwy 21) south of Sniders Crossroads Thursday afternoon 24-August at 14:36. Firefighter-Paramedics from Station 18 responded and treated the man at the scene. It was discovered he was suffering a STEMI and CAFR Flight was requested due to the distance to the closest Cath Lab. The man was transported to a nearby field on Cane Branch Road and Medic 18 met with CARE Flight. The CATH Lab was notified and the patient was flown to Trident Medical Center.
Engine 3, Engine 18, Medic 18, Car 111 and Car 119 responded. Firefighter Eddier Froshour served as Incident Commander.
