Incident # 23-06493 - An adult male received critical injuries when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on SC Hwy 174 at Flowers Dr on Edisto Island Sunday afternoon 27-August at 16:12. The man was in critical condition at the scene and was treated by Colleton Firefighter-Paramedics, Edisto Beach and St. Pauls Fire Firefighters. A medical helicopter was requested and CARE Flight responded to the Edisto Driving Range not far from the scene. The patient required advanced airway care prior to transport and was then flown to a Charleston Trauma Center. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
