Incident # 23-06708 - An adult female was flown to a Charleston Trauma Center after suffering a fall at her home. The patient suffered traumatic injuries and was found unconscious. It is not known how long the patient was in this condition. Firefighter-Paramedics responded to the home on Fairlight Circle near the Bamberg County line at 10:51 Sunday morning 03-September. The patient was treated at the scene. Due to the distance to a Trauma Center, CARE Flight was contacted and responded to a field near Carter's Ford Church. Fire-Rescue Medic 7 transported her to meet with CARE Flight. She was transferred to the Flight Crew without incident and flown to Charleston.
Medic 7, Engine 7, Battalion 1 and CARE Flight responded. Captain Mike Duffy served as Incident Commander.
