Incident # 23-07211 - An alert neighbor noticed smoke coming from a residence in the 1300 block of Nunuville Road Friday afternoon 22-September at 14:30. Fire-Rescue units arrived within minutes and found light smoke coming from the eves of the doublewide mobile home. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed one hand line to the building and made entry through the front door. Crews encountered fire in the area of the kitchen, They quickly knocked down the flames and saved the home, as well as most belongings. Crews had to pull the ceilings in the kitchen to stop some fire extension in the attic space. No injuries were reported. The origin of the fire was in the kitchen. Units were on the scene for two hours.
Engine 5, Engine 19, Tender 1, Tender 5, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 32, Medic 1, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Battalion Chief Scott O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
