Incident # 23-07377 - An adult male received multiple traumatic injuries after the vehicle he was driving struck a tree Friday afternoon 29-Sept at approx 17:15. The vehicle was traveling south in the 3300 block of Cane Branch Road when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the northbound ditch, overcorrected, crossed both lanes of Cane Branch Road and entered the southbound ditch where it struck a tree. The driver was treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics, then transported emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center by Fire-Rescue Medic 1. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
Engine 1, Medic 1 and Car 111 responded. Firefighter-Paramedic Michael Sanders served as Incident Commander.
