Incident # 23-07608 - An adult male received a serious gunshot wound to the arm in an incident that occurred in the Johnsville Community near Angora Ct. Saturday evening 07-October at 22:01. Bystanders placed the man in a car and drove him to the Circle C Truck Stop on Augusta Hwy near I-95. Fire-Rescue Medic 26 and the Sheriff's Office met the patient at the truck stop. The man's injuries were treated at the scene. He was then transported emergent in Medic 26 to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 26, Medic 26, Battalion 1, Car 111 and Car 118 responded. Capt. Alex Koontz served as Incident Commander.
