Incident # 23-07857 - A fire in the oven caused minor damage to the kitchen and filled the home with smoke at a residence in the 200 block of Bay Blossom Rd Sunday morning 15-October at 07:43. Firefighters removed the oven from the cabinets, secured the power and used PPV fans to remove smoke from inside the home. Two people were in the residence when the fire occurred and were able to safely exit the house. Damage to the dwelling was minor. Fire units were on the scene for 45 minutes.
Engine 19, Engine 26, Tender 1, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Medic 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 105, Car 111 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
