Lesslie Fabrication delivered the first of three new Workhorse Tenders last week. The 3000 gallon poly/wetside tender is mounted on a Kenworth T-880 chassis. The vehicle is equipped with a Hale 500 GPM PTO pump, Newton stainless steel 12 inch dump, hydraulic drop tank rack, one 1-3/4 pre-connect, SCBAs, two 2-1/2 inch discharges and an assortment of equipment and supply hose. The first unit has been assigned to Station # 19. It will be replacing a 2013 Tender, the busiest Tender in the County. The old Tender 19 will be reassigned to Station # 24. This is the twentieth Poly Wetside Tender Fire-Rescue has placed in service and the twenty second Tender purchased from Lesslie Fabrication.
