Incident # 23-09529 - Engine 9 arrived at a residence in the 24600 block of Augusta Hwy (SC Hwy 61) to find smoke visible from a double wide mobile home, Thursday afternoon 14-Dec at 15:20. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed one hand line and made entry through the front door. They found fire in the kitchen and quickly extinguished the flames. The fire originated from cooking and extended to the cabinets. The remainder of the home suffered smoke damage, but all personal belongings were saved. Crews were on the scene for over an hour. No injuries were reported.
Engine 9, Engine 36, Tender 5, Tender 9, Tender 19, Medic 9, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Firefighter-EMT Demontre Ferguson served as Incident Commander.
