Incident # 24-000999 - One person was transported to a Trauma Center following a two vehicle MVC at the intersection of Robertson Blvd (SC Hwy 64) and Poplar Street Thursday afternoon 04-Jan at 15:45. A Yukon and Ford pickup collided in the intersection. The pickup driver received multiple injuries. The occupant of the Yukon received minor injuries. Firefighter-Paramedics treated both patients at the scene, then transported the driver of the pickup truck emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. Robertson Blvd was down to one lane for about one hour. The accident is being investigated by the SC Hwy Patrol.
Engine 19, Medic 1, Medic 19, Car 111 and Car 112 responded. Captain Mike Duffy served as Incident Commander.
