Incident # 24-00664 - An adult male was airlifted to a Trauma Center following a shooting incident at the Corner Store in 8800 block of Hendersonville Hwy (US Hwy 17-A) Thursday afternoon 24-January at 15:35. Sheriff's Deputies and Firefighter-Paramedics responded to the location and began treating the individual. He was transported in Fire-Rescue Medic 13 to the bus loop at Hendersonville Elementary School, then transferred to the Flightcrew of CARE Flight. The man was flown to MUSC in Charleston. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 13, Medic 13, Battalion 1, Car 111, Car 112, Car 114 and CARE Flight responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
