Incident # 24-01129 - An adult male was flown to a Trauma Center after he fell and became unconscious Sunday afternoon 11-February at 16:47. The man was staying at a motel in the 1100 block of Sniders Hwy (SC Hwy 63). Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. He was transported in Fire-Rescue Medic 1 to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center, then transferred to the flight crew of CARE Flight. He was flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 111 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
