Incident # 24-01742 - Fire-Rescue responded to a second suspicious building fire over the weekend in the 800 block of Poplar Street at 04:33 Monday morning 04-March. A passerby reported the fire to 9-1-1. Engine 19 arrived to find the singlewide mobile home fully involved and over half of the roof had already collapsed. The home was not occupied. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed two handlines to the building to extinguish the fire. Water supply was conducted with Tenders. The home was destroyed. The cause of the fire was determined to be suspicious in nature.
