Incident # 24-02512 - A two vehicle MVC at the intersection of Green Pond Hwy (SC Hwy 303) and Proctor Street closed the intersection and sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger car and pickup truck collided causing the truck to flip over blocking Green Pond Highway. The driver of the truck was entrapped. The cab on the truck was crushed and crews were able to remove the windshield to extricate the driver. Both drivers were treated at the scene, then transported to Colleton Medical Center for further care. The Walterboro Police Dept. is investigating the accident.
