Incident # 24-03635 - A single vehicle accident occurred in the 800 block of North Jefferies Blvd, Thursday afternoon 09-May at 15:50. A northbound Chevrolet Blazer crossed onto the southbound shoulder, left the roadway and struck a tree and power pole. The adult male driver suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was unconscious in the vehicle. Responders from Fire-Rescue and the City of Walterboro treated the man at the scene, then transported him emergent to Colleton Medical Center with additional personnel on board to assist with his care. Sadly he did not survive his injuries. The Walterboro Police Dept. is investigating the crash.
