Incident # 24-04087 - A Corvette and Honda Accord collided in a curve in the 9000 block of Charleston Hwy just east of Neyles Crossroads Monday night at 22:31. The driver of the westbound Corvette was not injured, however the driver of the eastbound Honda suffered multiple traumatic injuries. His vehicle received heavy front end damage and was in the ditch. The Corvette spun multiple times and was near Maybank Lane, leaving a large debris field. The accident blocked the eastbound lane for about 2 hours. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the driver of the Honda, then transported him to the Trauma Center at MUSC. The SC HIghway Patrol is investigating the accident. The Sheriff's Office assisted with traffic control. 

Engine 6, Medic 6, Medic 19, Rescue 1, Battalion 1 and Car 111 responded. Firefighter-EMT Noah Feather served as Incident Commander.
