Incident # 24-04344 - An adult male was transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center after his Toyota RAV4 left the roadway and overturned Saturday afternoon 01-June at 17:17. The vehicle had been traveling southbound in the 9200 block of Jacksonboro Road south of Cottageville, when it failed to negotiate a curve. The small SUV went down a small embankment, struck several trees and flipped over. Two motorists stopped to assist the man. The driver received multiple traumatic injuries in the crash. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived and provided medical care, then transported him emergent to Trident. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
Engine 9, Medic 9, Rescue 1, Battalion 1 and Car 111 responded. Captain Dwayne Jacques served as Incident Commander.
