Incident # 24-04420 - An adult male died from injuries received in a two car collision at the intersection of Hampton St and Robertson Blvd., Friday afternoon 07-June at 18:11. The patient was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck that received heavy damage and ended up on Still Street east of the collision. The man was transported to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center to meet with the CARE Flight medical helicopter. He was flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center but sadly did not survive his injuries. The accident is being investigated by the Walterboro Police Dept.
Medic 6, Medic 19, Car 111, Car 118 and Walterboro Fire Dept. responded. Walterboro Fire Dept served as Incident Command.
