Fire-Rescue participated in the Juneteenth parade held in downtown Walterboro Saturday morning 15-June beginning at 10:00. The parade followed the same route as the Christmas parade from the Colleton Center, west on Hampton St to Jefferies and back east on Washington Street. The parade was the start of several activities that took place to commemorate the Juneteenth celebrations in Colleton County on Saturday.
Engine 1, Medic 1 and Battalion 1 participated.
