Incident # 24-05307 - An adult male received multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting incident in the 800 block of Van Dyke Road north of Cottageville, Thursday night 11-July at 23:07. Sheriff's Deputies secured the scene while Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man for his injuries. He was found in critical condition. Crews administered life saving whole blood and transported him emergent in Fire-Rescue Medic 9 to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Additional Firefighter-Paramedics assisted the crew with patient care enroute to the Trauma Center. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
