Incident # 24-07070 - An adult male performing yard work was shot in the back Tuesday evening in the 400 block of Cleveland Street. At 20:10, 9-1-1 received a report the man was shot and lying in a ditch. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and requested that CARE Flight be placed on standby. Fire-Rescue Medic 1 transported the man emergent to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center. He was transferred to the Flightcrew, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
