23/October/2024 - Woods and Storage Building Fire - "B" Shift

Incident # 24-08469 - A debris pile fire got out of control and destroyed a 12x12 storage building as well as a portion of woods near the property, Wednesday evening 23-October at 19:09. Fire-Rescue was dispatched to the location for the report of a structure on fire. Engine 26 arrived to find the small storage building completely on the ground and the woods surrounding the building on fire. They cancelled other responding units. Firefighters deployed one handline to extinguish the fire. The storage building was empty and crews prevented the fire from reaching the nearby home. Units were on the scene for two hours. The Forestry Commission also responded. 

Engine 26, Tender 26, Medic 26 and Car 112 responded. Captain KC Campbell served as Incident Commander.
