Fire-Rescue, along with many local agencies participated in a Truck or Treat Event sponsored by Sheriff Buddy Hill at the Sheriff's Office on Mable T. Willis Blvd 31-October beginning at 17:00. Several thousand participants attended the event, many in costume. The children gathered bags of candy, treats and prizes. The Sheriff's Office cooked hamburgers and hot dogs for those in attendance. Fire-Rescue office staff and several CERT members worked in the Fire-Rescue booth.
