23/January/2025 - Structure Fire - "A" shift


Incident # 25-00604 - A mobile home was heavily damaged from a fire that originated in the fireplace, Wednesday 23-January at 11:27. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Honey Dr. The chimney had a malfunction, which caused the fire to enter the attic space and spread over several rooms. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived quickly despite the snow covered roads and entered the building with several hand lines. They had to pull the ceilings in several rooms to reach the fire in the attic space, but were able to save the structure and much of the belongings. The family had been able to safely exit the residence prior to the arrival of responders. 


Engine 5, Engine 19, Tender 1, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Medic 13, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 107 and Car 118 responded. Asst. Chief Marty Stallings served as incident Commander.
