Incident # 25-000790 - Three people were injured in a two car MVC in the 8600 block of Sniders Hwy. (SC Hwy 63) Tuesday evening 28-January at 19:57. The two vehicles collided almost head-on causing heavy damage to both cars. All patients were treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics. Fire-Rescue Medic 1 transported two patients to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. Medic 13 transported one patient to Colleton Medical Center. Traffic on Sniders Hwy in the area of the accident was blocked for about 45 minutes. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
Engine 18, Rescue 1, Medic 1, Medic 13, Battalion 1 and Car 104 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
