Incident # 25-01785 - Sunday evening 02-March at 21:10, an adult female was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck on Charleston Hwy (SC Hwy. 64) at the intersection of Sandy Dam Lane. The woman was wearing dark clothing and there were no street lights in the area. The driver of the truck stopped and rendered aid . Firefighter-Paramedics found the woman lying in the ditch near the wood line. She complained of multiple injuries and was treated at the scene. Fire-Rescue Medic 19 transported her to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The accident is being investigated by the SC Highway Patrol.
