Incident # 25-02142 - A fire occurred in the attic of a residence located in the 200 block of Henry Street Saturday afternoon 15-March at 15:15. The occupant heard a noise from the attic and upon investigation found the A/C unit located there on fire. They safely exited the building and notified 9-1-1. Fire-Rescue units arrived a short time later. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed one hand line to the attic and quickly extinguished the fire. The home received some damage to the rafters, the A/C unit and items located near the unit. Firefighters placed salvage covers on the floor to remove the burned items from the attic. The home was saved with no damage to the living area and no injuries were reported.
