Incident # 25-02202 - A 30 year old male was fatally injured in a shooting incident that occured in the 200 block of Cleveland St, Monday evening 17-March at 21:15. Sheriff's Deputies arrived and cleared the scene. They found the man unconscious and unresponsive inside the residence and Deputies began performing CPR. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived a short time later and continued care. The patient received multiple gunshot wounds and was transported emergent in Fire-Rescue Medic 1 to Colleton Medical Center. The ED staff worked diligently to resuscitate the man, but he did not survive his severe injuries. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 1, Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 104 responded. Battalion Chief Scott O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
