Incident # 25-02233 - A 19 year old male was critically injured in a shooting incident in the 400 block of Bee Dr. Tuesday evening 18-March. At 19:37, 9-1-1 received several reports of a male being shot multiple times in the yard of a residence on Bee Dr. Sheriff's Deputies arrived quickly and began bleeding control on the man. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived a short time later and continued his treatment. The CARE Flight medical helicopter was placed on standby. Firefighter-Paramedics transported the man emergent to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center with additional personnel on board to assist with his care. He was transferred to the Flightcrew and flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 104, Car 105 and Car 107 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
